Log hours against a client and/or job from the Time tracking page, with a rate and a billable flag. Select any unbilled entries and click "Bill selected" to generate a real invoice draft from them - the hours become line items automatically.

In a hurry? Click Start on the live timer instead of typing hours by hand - it counts up while you work and logs the exact time when you stop. If you'd rather plan your whole week at once, use the weekly view to spread your total hours across the days you worked.

Set up a retainer for a client with an included hours-per-month allowance and a monthly fee. WiseSlip shows you real usage - hours actually logged against that client this calendar month - against the included allowance, so you know before you go over.

Save an invoice template once (client, line items, and a monthly or weekly schedule), and a fresh draft invoice generates automatically each period. You still review and send it yourself - nothing goes out to your client without you looking at it first. Use "Generate now" on the template if you want one immediately instead of waiting for its scheduled date.
