Terms of Service

This is a general-purpose terms template covering how WiseSlip actually operates today. It is not a substitute for legal advice - have an attorney review it before relying on it.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using WiseSlip, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. The service
WiseSlip lets you create invoices and other business documents (quotes, purchase orders, financial statements, an independent contractor agreement, a business plan, and a business proposal) and download them as PDFs. The core document tools work without an account. Creating an account lets you save documents and manage clients. Upgrading to WiseSlip Pro removes PDF branding and lifts save limits, billed via Stripe.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Pro is a recurring subscription (monthly or annual) billed through Stripe. It renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; cancelling stops future billing and your account reverts to the free plan's limits at the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use WiseSlip to create fraudulent documents, impersonate someone else, or violate any law. Don't attempt to abuse, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
6. Generated documents are not professional advice
WiseSlip generates document templates based on information you provide. The Independent Contractor Agreement template in particular is a general starting point, not legal advice- have a licensed attorney review any agreement before you rely on it. Financial statement templates (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) are formatting tools, not accounting, tax, or financial advice. You're responsible for the accuracy and legal sufficiency of any document you create and send.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you enter into WiseSlip. We only use it to render your documents and, if you save it, to display it back to you.
8. Termination
You can stop using WiseSlip and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
WiseSlip is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WiseSlip is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damages related to documents you generate and send.
11. Changes to these terms
We'll update the date at the top of this page if these terms change materially. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
