Privacy Policy

1. Overview

WiseSlip ("we," "us") provides free and paid tools for creating invoices and other business documents at wiseslip.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

2. Information we collect

Anonymous use. The invoice builder and every other document tool work fully without an account. Anything you type - client names, amounts, business details - stays in your browser and is used only to render your PDF. We never see or store it.

Account information. If you sign up, we collect your email address and a hashed password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase - we never see your plaintext password).

Saved documents.If you save a document to your account, its contents (which may include your clients' names, addresses, and amounts billed) are stored in our database, scoped to your account only.

Payment information.If you upgrade to Pro, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number — only a Stripe customer/subscription reference.

Usage data. We use Vercel Analytics, a cookieless, aggregated analytics service, to understand which pages are visited. It does not build an individual profile of you.

3. How we use information

To operate the service (save your documents, manage your subscription), to secure your account, to communicate necessary account or billing notices, and to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your document contents for advertising.

4. Data storage & security

Account and document data is stored in Postgres via Supabase, with row-level security enforced at the database level - your data is only ever queryable by your own authenticated session. No system is perfectly secure, but we don't store anything we don't need to operate the service.

5. Third-party services

We rely on Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting and analytics). Each processes data under its own privacy policy in addition to this one.

6. Your rights

You can delete any saved document yourself from your dashboard at any time. To request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below.

7. Data retention

We retain account and saved-document data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete the associated data, except where we're required to retain billing records for legal or tax purposes.

8. Children's privacy

WiseSlip is a business tool not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

9. Cookies

Our analytics are cookieless. Signing in sets a session cookie so you stay logged in - that's the only cookie we set directly.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top of this page if this policy changes materially.
